Day 36 - Beta landing page implemented
life UserBit design entrepreneurshipDesigning the landing page
In my career I’ve found myself designing landing pages more often than any other type of creative work. Perhaps it is because I find it really challening and thus, really rewarding to do it well.
Designing in general is more complex of a task than programming in my opinion due to its non-deterministic nature. Yes, there are rules about colors and inspiration from trending patterns but there’s also this requirement to be unique and different. Unlike programming where in a lot of situations you can simply copy paste code from other resources and retro-fit it into your usecase, designing takes more thinking effort to 1. create the assets and 2. be somewhat original and different. It is too in-your-face to get away with copying.
Nevertheless, UserBit Beta landing page is now ready and I’m satisfied with it. The features can use more explanation and I’ll build that out in iterations.
Pricing page is also available externally, because I want to make it clear that the free Individual Plan is only available while the beta is running.
