Day 101 - Fly back to US + Founder Story + Bug

life UserBit entrepreneurship

For most of my product creation experiments I have tried to remain anonymous. TimerBit, Calorious, Yogoals, Cabulary, Grubpal, open source stuff — for all of them I wanted the product to shine and did not put any effort into making myself known.

UserBit is different. I want people to know who I am and why I’m doing this. I want UserBit to be a part of who I am, and vice versa. So I decided to write a founder story to give a face and a name to the maker of UserBit.

It is now available here: https://userbitapp.com/#/about

Bug

While on the airport, I got a message from one of our beta users having some trouble with the person-group feature. Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to get home to work on it. I even tried to fix the problem on the train itself… but of course, there’s no wifi on NJ Transit!

The bug was rather embarassing and I’m so thankful to the person for reaching out and letting me know! Thanks L!
